Likewise ML, the only beef I have with it is that it's only compatible with component cables; if they ever release an HD PVR that's HDMI compatible, I'd get it as soon as it came out.

I read somewhere its against the law for recorders to use HDMI cables. Best they sac do is component and S-video.

I think it has to do with recording actual HD channels from your cable box such as PPV.
